Daily Prayer & Reflection
A quiet recovery-focused page for prayer, meditation, gratitude, and one-day-at-a-time thinking.
A gentle place to begin
If drinking has become difficult to control, a meeting can be a simple first step. You do not need to have everything figured out before you walk in.
Begin the day with a clear intention
Recovery is often strengthened by a daily pause. A short prayer, honest reflection, or moment of gratitude can help a person begin the day with steadiness.
Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
Reflection for today
Today, I do not have to solve my entire life. I can practise honesty, ask for help, avoid the first drink, and do the next right thing in front of me.
Sobriety grows through small actions repeated honestly.
Morning question
What is one thing I can do today that supports recovery?
Evening question
Where was I honest, useful, patient, or willing today?
